To research the cheapest price for hotels, I will use the same dates and destinations that I have used previously. The reason for this is because once I am done gathering the data on airfare, hotels, car rentals, and such, I would like to compare the prices to vacation packages offered by the various airfare/travel websites. Yes, prices do fluctuate by day at times, so my prices won't be an exact measure of where the best rates are, but this should give you a good idea. With that said, back to the matter at hand. Before I start laying out prices from websites, I would, again, like to explain myself. For this research, I will only look for the cheapest hotel in the area, lets say a maximum of 10 miles away from your desired destination. I will not pay attention to 'star' ratings of hotels because I am simply looking for the cheapest way possible. Maybe in the future I'll look at extravagent vacations, but I think most will agree when I say that cheaper is better (as long as you're not eating crackers out of the same trashcan that doubles as your only form of transportation. That'd be a fun vacation!). Besides looking for the cheapest hotel, I will also look for a specific hotel to judge which site is charging more. Everybody have their bags packed? Toothbrushes?
