I searched out as many trave sites as I could find to bring you the mother of all airfare website comparisons. So sit back, grab a beer (of the root variety if you're under 21) and have a look-see.

For this search, I wanted to do, what I see, as a high volume trip (lots o' people). For this reason, I chose to research the cheapest flight from New York to London over Christmas (12/21/2008 to 12/28/2008, right-e-o chap, Happy Christmas! Sound the part? Probably not, never been there). For this search, if I ran into a website that was an airline site searcher (igougo, booking buddy, etc.) I did not perform a search, as this would have been redundant. My goal was to search for all airports in New York to all airports in London. If the website did not offer this feature, I chose JFK for New York, and Heathrow for London. This search was performed on 9/17/2008. The numbers are not perfect, so please be sure to double check any fares of interest. Fares do vary, so if you happen to be in New York, like what you see, and feel like having a Boddington's over Christmas (not imported! gosh!), get your fingers typin' or your mouse skidaddlin (moving?) on over to the website you'd like to pur-chase le tickets from. I was really surprised not to see some of the more well known sites fare better (ha, get the pun, fare=fair, ha, I make funny). Goes to show you, again, doing a bit of research can save you a bit of cash. Whether that cash is $5, or $50, a wise man once said, "Five dollars is five dollars." I'm not sure exactly what he meant by it, but amen. I plan to update this page frequently with new trips, so please check back regularily. Without further ado, here are the winners:
